Thea Rasini - President and co-founder

Italian-american, a background in engineering and further studies in social sciences, Thea seeks out treasure hunts wherever she goes. Her other love, spending time with people in the great outdoors, has brought her around the world with the SeriousFun Children's Network , Move Forward Haiti and World Camp as coordinator and facilitator for educational, outdoorsy and sciencey activities for kids, adults and corporate groups. She has also been a corporate training facilitator with Dynamo Academy in Italy. She proudly covers the position as president of the association.

Sofia Rasini - Vice-President and Co-founder

Sofia has traveled around Europe, Africa, South Asia and Latin America working with various non-profits in youth development. After several incredibly fun years working within the network of ‘SeriousFun’ summer camps for children with serious illnesses, she has co-founded Campo Base. She is a firm believer in the healing power of play and exploration, and their power to unite people of all different backgrounds.

Ollie Rasini - Secretary and Co-Founder

Ollie is an Italian native who grew up in the United States. She is a trained actress and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Brown University. Since she returned to live in Italy in 2006, she has  performed in numerous scripted and improvised shows. She also teaches improvisation with Teatro a Molla and uses it as a powerful tool for personal development as well as teambuilding and group dynamics.

Marina Clerici - Counselor, Site and Logistics

Farmer and painter, she single-handedly re-founded and runs a centuries-old farm in Northern Italy at Castel Campo, which produces organic grains and herbs. She works to fit into a more natural human role inside the web of life.

Martina Biondi - Nurse, Nursing consultant

Martina is a nurse specialized in palliative care. In the past, she has worked in her professional capacity both in the private and public sectors: she has been nursing director at Dynamo Camp, and today she is a coordinator in home palliative care for the Alto Garda and Ledro areas (TN, Italy). Martina cares deeply about the wellbeing of her patients, and shares Campo Base's philosophy of seeing social and psychological wellbeing as an integral part of health.
