Our History

Associazione Campo Base APS ETS è un ente del terzo settore con sede a Castel Campo, in Trentino.

Fondata nel 2016, organizza campi residenziali e ritiri per adulti, bambini e famiglie, con l’obiettivo di creare programmi di empowerment che favoriscano la crescita personale, aumentino l’autostima e creino una rete di supporto per i partecipanti. Su scala più ampia, lavoriamo per sfidare i tabù culturali che circondano la malattia e il bisogno di supporto psicologico.

In questi 10 anni, più di 300 partecipanti e quasi 100 volontari a livello nazionale ed internazionale hanno partecipato ai nostri progetti.

Abbiamo fatto parte, grazie alla premiazione per l’onore al merito del Presidente della Repubblica alla nostra socia fondatrice Marina Clerici, dei progetti segnalati dalla presidenza.

I progetti di Campo Base spaziano dal lavoro con bambini affetti da patologie rare al lavoro sociale con le scuole ai progetti per adulti con patologie.

Our Team

Thea RasiniPresident and Co-founder
Italian-American with a background in Engineering and advanced studies in Child Protection, Thea turns every outing into a treasure hunt. Her other passion – outdoor community-building – has taken her worldwide with SeriousFun Children’s Network, Move Forward Haiti, and World Camp, as a coordinator and facilitator of educational, outdoor and science activities for children, adults and corporate groups. She’s also facilitated corporate training with Dynamo Academy in Italy and currently supports school programs. She proudly serves as Campo Base’s president.
Sofia RasiniVice-President and Co-founder
After (and during) her studies in anthropology at New York University and SOAS in London, Sofia travelled through Europe, Africa, South Asia and Latin America working with various non-profit organisations in the field of youth empowerment.

Following incredibly rewarding years with SeriousFun camps for children with serious illnesses, she co-founded Campo Base.
He firmly believes in the healing power of play and exploration to unite people across all backgrounds.

Olli RasiniSecretary and Co-founder
Olli is Italian, but grew up in the United States. She is a professional actress and holds a degree in Theatre Arts from Brown University in the USA. Since moving back to Italy in 2006, she has performed in numerous scripted and improvised shows. She also teaches improvisation with Teatro a Molla and uses it as a powerful tool for personal development, team building and group dynamics.
At Base Camp he brings a slightly crazy element of fun, but always with intentionality and depth, which helps to loosen, unite, make people laugh and discover.

Marina ClericiCo-fondatrice
Agricoltrice e pittrice, da sola ha rifondato e gestisce una fattoria naturale secolare nel nord Italia a Castel Campo, che produce cereali ed erbe. Si impegna per la ricerca di un ruolo umano più naturale all’interno della rete della vita. A Campo Base, Marina gestisce tutto ciò che ha a che vedere con la nostra sede operativa, il millenario maniero di Castel Campo, rendendolo accogliente ed accessibile, vivo ed affascinante. Abbiamo fatto parte, grazie alla premiazione per l’onore al merito del Presidente della Repubblica alla nostra socia fondatrice Marina, dei progetti segnalati dalla presidenza.
Martina Biondi Nurse, Nursing consultant
Martina is a nurse and has a master's degree in pediatric palliative care. In the past, Martina has worked in both public and private sectors – including as head nurse at Dynamo Camp. She now coordinates palliative care services for Alto Garda e Ledro district. Martina has the all-round well-being of the patients she looks after very much at heart, and with Campo Base she shares Campo Base’s vision of of social and psychological well-being as an integral part of health.

Dal 2026, Campo Base APS ETS è parte del Registro Unico Nazionale del Terzo Settore.
